Directions to Trailhead Parking for NY/NJ Hikes The
AMC stores directions to trailhead parking for NY/NJ hikes in the following
yahoo group:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/amcmaps/.
Click on the “Links” option at
the left of the screen which brings you into Google maps. A listing of all the
parks in the NY/NJ area will appear. You can then click on the park for
directions. Example: click on Harriman/Bear
Mountain. Click on the trailhead parking you are looking for—example:
Skannatati.
A pop-up screen will appear. Where it says “Get Directions”, click on
the To Here
and then put your address in and click on “Go”.
The directions and route will then appear. |

can help them earn some extra money by choosing the right search engine and
